One fox, three locations, built for lingering.
Death of the Fox Brewing Company was established in 2014 and opened its doors in Clarksboro on August 14, 2017, on ground that has held a tavern for three centuries — the first craft brewery in New Jersey to also be a coffeehouse, and since 2020 a microroastery as well.
From there came High Grounds Coffee Roasters in Glassboro Town Square and High Grounds Lounge in Carneys Point. Each location has its own name, menu, and neighborhood; all of them answer to the same standard behind the counter.
Wellness is an ingredient, not an afterthought. Protein coffee, smoothies, and matcha sit beside the espresso and the stout.

At heart, we’re a craft brewery.
16 taps poured in Clarksboro — Sixteen taps of beer brewed in this building, poured beside coffee roasted in the same room. Blueberry Muffin, Hazy Crazy Diamond, Milky Way Latte Porter, and Cinnamon Toast Pale Ale are the ones you'll hear regulars order by name.

Wellness
A room that asks how you feel.
Wellness has been part of how we run these rooms for years — we just never said it out loud. It sits beside the espresso and the taps, not off in its own corner.
Mats go down on the floor for yoga. Meditation and sound baths run in the same space, lights low, doors shut. And our run club heads out for a 5K — a standing crew, not a one-off race, and every pace is welcome.
Behind the bar there's a full wellness and recovery drink menu — protein coffee, smoothies, matcha, and drinks built for after a run or a class — plus wellness cocktails poured from the same bar as the stout, because feeling good and going out are not opposites.
